CAMP DESCRIPTION:

Welcome to the Medford Runnin' Raiders basketball camp.  Our objective for our youth basketball camp is to have FUN and spread a passion for the sport of basketball by teaching our youth the basic offensive and defensive fundamentals necessary to have success.  We also want our campers to leave our camp understanding the importance of work ethic and character in relation to success.  Campers will have an exciting time participating in contests, competition, and skill instruction aided by members of the Medford Boys Basketball team, head coach Ryan Brown, and other high school coaches.  Each camper will receive a t-shirt for attending camp.  Please join us for four days of fun!


  • Ages: Incoming Grades 1-8
  • Date: June 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th
  • Times:
    • Gr 1st-3rd (1:00 pm - 2:15 pm @ MAMS SMALL GYM)  
    • Gr 4th-5th (2:15 pm - 4:00 pm @ MAMS SMALL GYM)  
    • Gr 6th-8th (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm @ MAMS BIG GYM)
  • Location: Medford Area Middle School
  • Cost: $20

Objectives of Camp:
  1. Have fun
  2. Learn about work ethic and character and how they are important for success
  3. Offensive footwork (pivots, jump stops, triple threat)
  4. Proper shooting form (1 motion)
  5. Attacking and finishing at the rim
  6. Creating space and beating pressure
  7. Basic offensive and defensive principles
